Set Default to Print 1-Sided

If your prints are double-sided every time you print, you can set your default to 1-sided instead.

Open your start menu and type Printers. Select the Printers & Scanners option that shows up in the search menu.
Click on the printer that you want to change the defaults for and select the Manage button.
Click the Printing Preferences option which will bring up a dialog box. Within that box, select the 1-sided option to set that as the default then Apply.
